The best place to meet single men isn’t at the grocery store. Most men aren’t exactly in a leisurely state of mind when they’re shopping for groceries. They just want to get in and get out as quickly as possible.

You might have a better chance at a coffee shop… except a lot of guys don’t come alone. Or they immediately leave once they get their drink. Or they crack open their laptop and get straight to work. You have to work harder to get his attention.

And let’s face it, there’s not much to do at a laundromat. There’s a lot of sitting and waiting involved. Any guy you see there is practically a captive audience. He’s going to be way more interested in talking to a pretty girl than just sitting there and watching his clothes tumble around in the dryer. And that’s why the laundromat is the best place to meet single men. I speak from personal experience, too: I’ve had more men strike up a conversation with me at a laundromat than anywhere else. (Of course, the eagerness level seems to drop after they see me folding my husband’s shirts and underwear.)
